This frame (dating mid to late 80’s) was bought at Eroica Britannia in 2014, from Retrospective Cycles for £175, which at the time was about R2200!

The owner has searched extensively for info on the brand, without much luck. Niall McCart, the owner of Retrospective Cycles told him they had bought the frame from a market in Milan. After hours and hours searching he eventually found reference to a Joey Celis, a photographer from San Francisco. Joey confirmed he had bought a 1984 Fantini in Milan in the early 90s and that it was a lovely bike.

This example is of unknown tubing. Other than Campagnolo Victory shifters and rear derailleur, she’s dressed in Gipiemme groupo, Modolo brake levers and Mavic MA2 rims, Ambrosio 130mm stem and TTT bars. Note the unusual front brake caliper attachment and the internal cable routing for the front and rear derailleurs. Obviously an early aero attempt, though not a lo pro.
